Permaculture design course
May 26th-June 4th, 2017

We are really proud to host the 170th  Ná Lu'um Permaculture Design Course in Mundo Nuevo. A 10-day theoritical and practical course in our gardens based on the pedagogic curriculum of Bill Molisson guided by the international teachers Beatriz Ramirez and Tierra Martínez.  Among practical activities, we will be working on a multi-use eco-construction, a high production system combined with a water management system (Swales), and a Chilean oven.

Madre Tierra Retreat 
November 10-13, 2016

A three-day retreat in which participants engage in art, dance/movement, and yoga experientials guided by certified yoga instructors and professional art and dance therapists. The retreat is specifically designed for individuals who wish to step back from day-to-day demands for three days of adventure, personal growth, transformation, and self-exploration enlightened by the restorative powers of Mother Earth.

Introduction to Permaculture

This three-day introductory course will be led in English by our friends and colleagues, Marylin Wilson and Jilian Tayce. As international permaculture specialists, Marylin and Jilian have hosted many classes around the world. After a year working on their own project in Colombia, they are offering their time to share their experience with us for these 3 days.
This class will give you the theoretical tools and practical examples to understand what permaculture is all about and to start applying it in your daily life.
The course is rather intensive in order to cover as many aspects as we can. We will start with permaculture ethics and concepts, and finish by approaching design thinking for different climates.
This course is sure to be a lively, interactive, and thought-provoking experience.
